Shopping & Order Fulfillment
Please be advised that order payment processing and order fulfillment are facilitated through a third-party retailer.
Where We Ship
This service may be limited or unavailable in certain locations due to local laws or other restrictions.
We currently ship to all states in the continental U.S. except:
Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Michigan, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, and Utah.
Important: Adult Signature Required
All shipments containing alcohol require an in-person signature from someone 21 years or older upon delivery. Please enter a shipping address and delivery date where someone 21+ will be available to receive and sign for the package. A valid photo ID must be available at the time of delivery.
Carriers cannot leave packages containing alcohol unattended, even if you have a signature on file.
If you cannot be home during normal business hours, we recommend having your order shipped to your place of work or choosing to have the shipment held at the nearest FedEx or UPS pickup location.
Shipping Time & Order Tracking
Orders are shipped from fulfillment centers in Connecticut (CT).
How Long Does Shipping Take?
The typical fulfillment and delivery timeline is:
- Warehouse fulfillment: 1–3 business days
- Shipping after fulfillment: 1–7 business days, depending on location
- Typical total delivery time: 2–10 business days
- In some cases: Delivery may take up to 14 business days
Orders are generally fulfilled Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Orders are not fulfilled on weekends or bank holidays.
Orders to Oklahoma and Texas may take slightly longer due to the use of local carriers in those states.
We recommend placing orders early in the week to reduce the likelihood of your package sitting in a shipping warehouse over the weekend.
When Will I Receive My Tracking Information?
Once your order has been fulfilled, a shipping label has been created, and the package has entered the carrier’s network, you will receive an email containing your tracking information.
If you have not received a tracking email after 3 business days, please contact shop@crystalheadvodka.com for assistance.
Before contacting us, please check your promotions, junk, and spam folders, as tracking emails may occasionally be filtered there.
Delivery Times
Typical delivery times are:
- In-state shipping: 24–48 business hours
- Out-of-state shipping: 5–7 business days
Delivery times may vary depending on the carrier and shipping address.
Shipping Carriers & Delivery Conditions
Crystal Head Vodka assumes no liability for product damage caused by poor weather conditions during transportation or for delays caused by the carrier.
Please check local weather conditions before placing an order and make sure someone 21 or older will be available to receive the package.
Multiple delivery attempts are one of the most frequent causes of damage or delayed delivery. Please monitor your tracking information and make arrangements to ensure your package can be received on time.
Frequently Asked Shipping Questions
How Do I Track My Order?
You will receive an email with your tracking number once your order has been fulfilled.
If you have not received the email, please check your promotions, junk, and spam folders before contacting customer service.
Do I Need to Be Home to Receive My Package?
Yes. Someone 21 or older with valid photo ID must be present at the time of delivery to sign for the package.
If someone 21+ is not available, the carrier will make two additional delivery attempts. If the third attempt is unsuccessful, the order will be returned to the retailer that fulfilled your order.
Can I Ship to a P.O. Box?
No. Orders cannot be shipped to an APO/FPO/DPO address or P.O. Box because all alcohol orders require an adult signature upon delivery.
Orders, Changes & Returns
How Long Does It Take for an Order to Ship?
Most orders ship within 1–2 business days, although some orders may take 3–4 business days, depending on product availability and carrier pickup schedules.
Our network of retailers fulfills orders Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Orders are not fulfilled on weekends or bank holidays.
Depending on your location, orders are generally delivered within 2–14 business days after shipment. Occasional carrier or fulfillment delays may occur.
Can I Add or Remove a Product From My Order?
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to add or remove products from an order once it has been placed.
All sales are final.
Can I Get a Refund on My Order?
All orders are final, and returns or exchanges are not accepted.
However, if your order:
- Arrives damaged
- Contains an incorrect product
- Is missing an item
please email shop@crystalheadvodka.com within 3 days of receiving your shipment.
Please include a description of the issue and photographs of the damaged, incorrect, or missing items.
We may replace or refund products that are defective, damaged, incorrect, or missing.
Once the necessary evidence has been received and inspected, or an undeliverable item has been returned, we will email you to confirm receipt and notify you whether your refund or replacement has been approved.
If your refund is approved, the refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original credit card or payment method.
Can I Change My Delivery Address?
If you entered an incorrect delivery address or are otherwise unable to sign for your order, please contact shop@crystalheadvodka.com as soon as possible.
If your order is returned to the sender, you may receive a refund for the cost of the product, less any applicable shipping costs and taxes.
My Product Arrived Damaged. Can I Return It?
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accept returns.
If your product arrives damaged, please email shop@crystalheadvodka.com with photographs of the damage. Our Customer Service Team will review the issue and assist you with the next steps.
Can I Return My Product?
No. We are unable to accept returns because alcohol products cannot be shipped back by the final customer.
How Old Do You Have to Be to Place an Order?
You must be 21 years of age or older to place an order.
I Ordered Multiple Products but Only Received Some of Them. What Happens Next?
When multiple products are shipped, separate packages and tracking numbers may be generated for the same order.
In rare cases, a package may be lost or misplaced during transit. If you have not received all of the products in your order, please contact shop@crystalheadvodka.com so our Customer Service Team can investigate and assist you.
Do You Ship Internationally?
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer international shipping.

About Crystal Head Vodka
How Is Crystal Head Vodka Crafted?
The process begins with high-quality peaches and cream corn, which is distilled into a neutral grain spirit.
The spirit is quadruple distilled and then blended with pristine water from Newfoundland, Canada.
Finally, the vodka is filtered seven times, including three passes through semi-precious quartz crystals known as Herkimer diamonds.
Our award-winning vodka contains no additives. No glycerol, citrus oils, sugars, or other ingredients are added to enhance or mask the taste.
What Are Herkimer Diamonds?
Herkimer diamonds are semi-precious quartz crystals.
These beautiful examples of the planet’s crystalline deposits have no colored rutilations. The most significant deposit occurs in Herkimer County, New York, with smaller deposits found in Oaxaca, Mexico, and Afghanistan.
Some New Age belief systems associate quartz crystals with positive energy and properties that promote human healing and well-being.
What Does Filtering Through Herkimer Diamonds Do to the Vodka?
While conventional chemistry does not suggest that passing vodka over quartz crystals materially changes the product, consumers consistently report noticing a difference in taste.
In taste tests comparing Crystal Head Vodka with and without the triple Herkimer diamond filtration, tasters have consistently preferred the vodka filtered through the crystals.
Common descriptions of the difference include that it tasted smoother or better.
Where Is Crystal Head Vodka Produced?
Crystal Head Vodka is produced in St. John’s, Newfoundland, on an island off the Canadian coast, at one of the last government-owned distilleries in the world.
At the distillery, the raw spirit is reduced with Newfoundland glacial water to 40% alcohol by volume.
The facility maintains exacting quality-control standards throughout the production process.
Does Crystal Head Produce Flavored Vodka?
Crystal Head does not produce flavored vodka.
Crystal Head Vodka is designed to provide consumers with a blank canvas for customizing flavors and ingredients.
When and Where Was Crystal Head Vodka First Released?
Crystal Head Vodka was first launched in Southern California in September 2008.
By November of that year, the product had launched in four additional U.S. markets.
The initial production of 5,400 cases quickly sold out. Demand was so high that dealers in some areas were limited to one bottle per consumer, and additional markets were not opened until 2009.
Since then, Crystal Head Vodka has received numerous awards and medals in competitions including the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco, the Australian Liquor Industry Awards, and PRODEXPO in Moscow, where it received a gold medal in the “Excellent Taste” category among approximately 400 competing products.
Who Designed the Bottle?
The Crystal Head bottle was designed by John Alexander, a renowned American portrait artist and landscape painter.
His work is held by institutions including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the Corcoran Museum and Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C., and the Houston Museum of Fine Art, as well as by private collectors around the world.
Each Crystal Head bottle is manufactured to exacting standards by Bruni Glass in Milan, Italy.
The bottle design process took more than two years. When the prototype was completed, Bruni described the design as being of exceptional complexity.
Why Is the Bottle Shaped Like a Head?
According to legend, thirteen crystal skulls held by Indigenous peoples of the Americas, including the Navajo, Aztec, and Maya, can be used to project positive energy and enlightenment.
Inspired by this legend, our founders sought to create a bottle worthy of one of the world’s purest vodkas.
John Alexander designed the bottle, while Dan Aykroyd provided creative consultation. Together, they envisioned a head rather than a skull, a symbol of life inspired by the legend’s themes of spiritual power and enlightenment.
The result is an intricate vessel designed to hold Crystal Head’s Pure Spirit. Clean, additive-free vodka.

Is Crystal Head Vodka Merchandise Available for Sale?
The online merchandise store closed in December 2013.
There are currently no authorized dealers selling Crystal Head merchandise.

Crystal Head Vodka is distilled multiple times, a process that breaks down proteins.
However, we always recommend consulting with a qualified healthcare professional regarding specific health concerns, allergies, or dietary restrictions.
What Is the Alcohol Content?
All three Crystal Head Vodka expressions, Original, Onyx, and Aurora, have an alcohol content of 40% ABV (alcohol by volume).
