On June 1st, Dan Aykroyd was at Union Station for the Via Rail launch event. The next morning Dan traveled on board Via Rail to Ottawa where he was accompanied by Karen McCrimmon, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Transport, Andrew Campbell, Executive Director of the Canada 150 Federal Secretariat at the Department of Canadian Heritage and Martin R. Landry, Chief Commercial Officer, VIA Rail Canada. Dan presented each with a one-of-a-kind bottle painted by Canadian artist Tamara Forth. Andrew Campbell took this opportunity to announce Dan as an official Canada 150 Ambassador and presented him with a Canada 150 jersey.

As Canada celebrates its 150th anniversary, Crystal Head Vodka is proud to partner with Canadian artist Tamara Forth to create a series of one-of-a kind bottles, capturing the essence of what it means to be Canadian.  Tamara is a Canadian artist with over 25 years of experience. Working predominantly in acrylic, Tamara paints on a variety of ‘canvases’ including barn board, plywood, traditional canvas, furniture, windows and most recently, Crystal Head Vodka bottles.
